we know that, Distance = Speed x Time

∴ D = 50 km x 42/60 hr = 35 km

Now, Time = 30 minutes = 30/60 hr = 1/2 hr

∴ New speed of the bus = Distance / Time = 35 km / (1/2) hr = 70 km/hr
