We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

It is given,

Total distance covered by the bus = 250+250 = 500 km

Total time taken by the bus = 4 + 5 = 9hours.

Average speed = Total distance covered/ Total time taken

= 500/9

= 55.5 km/hr

Hence, The average speed of 55.5 km/hr
