Solution:-

Total distance travelled by Bus= 86.4

Total Diesel used = 4.8

Distance travelled with 1 litre= 86.4÷4.8

$\frac{864}{10} \div \frac{48}{10} \\ \frac{864}{10} \times \frac{10}{48} \\ \frac{864}{48} \\ = 18$

therefore the bus will travel a total distance of 18 km with 1 litre of diesel
