since acceleration is change in velocity with respect to time then it is given by

acceleration=velocity/time

here V=90km/h AND T=5sec

A=90/5=18m/s

GIVEN ::--

Initial velocity(u) = 90 km/h

Final velocity(v) = 0 m/s

Time(t) = 5 secs

TO FIND ::--

The acceleration(a) of the bus.

SOLUTION ::--

  • u = 90 km/h = 90 × (5/18) = 5 × 5 = 25 m/s
  • v = 0 m/s
  • t = 5 s

We know,

\sf{a=\dfrac{v-u}{t} }\\\\\sf{\longmapsto a=\dfrac{0-25}{5} }\\\\\sf{\longmapsto a=\dfrac{-25}{5} }\\\\\boxed{\sf{\longmapsto a=-5\ m/s^2}} \:\:\:\: \cdots \mathbf{ANSWER}
