GIVEN :-

u ( initial velocity) = 160kmph= 44.44mps

v (Final velocity) = 120kmph = 33.33mps

t (time taken) = 10 sec

TO FIND :- Acceleration

SOLUTION :-

a =  \frac{(v - u)}{t}  \\  \\  \\  = \frac{(33.3-44.4) }{10} \\ \\ \\ = \frac{-11.11}{10} \\ \\ \\ = -1.111

It is negative acceleration or retardatiom of -1.111 mps^-2

Answer:

Acceleration=Rate of change of displacement per unit time

So, rate of change of displacement=(160-120)km/hr

40×5/18 (Conversion from km/hr to m/s)

=11.1111m/s

Therefore acceleration=11.1/10 m/s^2

=1.11 m/s^2 is the answer hope it helps
