Therefore, final velocity, v= 60,000/5 = 12000m/s

acceleration =  (v-u)/t

                    =(12,0000-16,000)/5

                    = -4000/5

                      = -800m/s

Therefore, retardation = 800m/s or acceleration = -800m/s
