A bus decreases its speed from 80 Km/hr to 60 Km/hr in 5 s. Find the acceleration of the bus.​

Acceleration = V1 - V2 ÷ time

80 km/ hr = 80 × 1000 / 3600 m/s = 80 × 5/18 = 200/9 m/s

Similarly 60 km/hr = 150 /9 m/s

acceleration =

  \frac{200}{9}  -  \frac{150}{9}  \div 5

50/45 = 10 /9 metres/ second
