Answer:

accerleration =  \frac{change \: in \: velocity}{time \: taken}   \\ \\  = \frac{80 - 60}{2}  \\   \\ = 20 \frac{km} { {hr}^{2} }

hope it helps..

Initial speed of the bus, u = 80 km/h

Final speed of the bus, v = 60 km/h

Time take to cover the distance, s = 2 h

\sf a_{bus} = \dfrac{∆v}{t}

\sf a_{bus} = \dfrac{60-80}{2}

\sf a_{bus} = \dfrac{-20}{2}

\sf a_{bus} = -10 km/h²

\sf a_{bus} = -2.78 m/s²
