Initial velocity ( u) = 80 kmph.
Final velocity (v) = 60kmph .

Δv = v - u = 60-80kmph = -20 * 5 / 18 = -100/18 m/s .

Time ( t) = 5s

Acceleration = v - u / t = -100/18 / 5 = -100/90 = -10/9 = -1.11m/s² .

◼ TASK : TO ANSWER THE ABOVE QUESTION
...............................................................................................................⬛⬛⬛
⏩ INITIAL VELOCITY ( U ) = 80 Km / h

⏩ INITIAL VELOCITY ( U ) =
200 / 9 m / s

⏩ FINAL VELOCITY ( V ) =
60 km / h

⏩ FINAL VELOCITY ( V ) =
150 / 9 m / s

⏩ TIME = 5 s

⏩ ACCLERATION = V - U / T

⏩ ACCELERATION =
150 / 9 - 200 / 9 / 5

⏩ ACCLERATION = - 50 / 9 / 5

⏩ ACCELERATION =
- 50 / 9 × 1 / 5

⏩ ACCELERATION = - 10 / 9

⏩ ACCELERATION =
- 1.111111

➡ ACCELERATION CAN BE NEGATIVE
