a bus driver moving with 40 km per hour and he acceleraties his bus and make its velocity 60kilometre per hour in 30 minutes find the acceleration of the bus ​

Velocity = v = 60 km/h

Time = t = 15 sec

To find :

Distance = S = ?

First you have to convert velocity in meter/sec from km/h we can do this as following:

60 km= 60 * 1000 (as one km is equal to 1000 meters)

1 hr = 1 * 60 * 60 ( as one hour is equal to 60 min and 1 min is equal to 60 sec)

v = 60*1000/60*60

v = 16.666 m/sec

Now from definition of velocity:

v = S/t or S = vt

Put above values

S = 16.666 m/sec * 15 sec

S = 250 meters or 250/1000 = 0.25 km
