Given
Speed = 36km/ hr
Distance = 500m
Both should have same unit so convert speed or distance.
Speed = 36km/hr
As we know,
1km = 1000m
And
So, divide the given value by (60 \times 60)s and multiply it with 1000
To Find:-
Time = ?
Solution
Formula to find time if distance and speed is given.
➣
Put the given values..
Time = 50s

Given:-
- Speed of the bus (v) = 36 km/h [Consider uniform] = 10 m/s
- Distance to travel = 500 m
To Find: Time taken in the journey.
We know,
t = s/v
where,
- t = Time taken,
- s = Distance travelled,
- v = Speed.
∴ t = (500 m)/(10 m/s)
→ t = (50)/(1/s)
→ t = 50 seconds
∴ Time it'll take is 50 seconds.
