u = 36 km/h
= 10 m/s

v = 72 km/h
= 72× 1000 / 60 × 60
= 72000/ 3600
= 20 m/s

t = 10 second

a = v- u / t
= 20 - 10 / 10
= 1 m/s ^2

Initial velocity u = 32 km/h = 36 x 1000 /60 x 60 = 10 m/s
final velocity v = 72 km/h = 72 x 1000 /60 x60 = 20 m/s

time = 10 seconds.

Now by the formula of acceleration:

Acceleration=Final velocity - initial velocity/Time

or

A = v -u/t

A = 20 - 10 / 10
= 10 / 10
=
1 {ms}^{ - 2}
