initial speed, u = 36 km/h

u = 36 × ( 5/18 ) m/s

u = 10 m/s

final speed, v = 72 km/h

v = 72 × ( 5/18 ) m/s

v = 20 m/s

Time taken, t = 10 sec

Acceleration, a = ( v – u ) / t

a = ( 20 – 10 ) / 10

a = 10 / 10

a = 1 m/s²
