v = u + at,

Here,

  = 60 × (\frac{5}{18} ) m/s

  = 16.67 m/s

and,

u = 8 km/hr

  = 8 × (\frac{5}{18} ) m/s

  = 5 m/s

So,

16.67 = 5 + a(5)

5a = 11.67

a = \frac{11.67}{5} m/s^{2}

a = 2.334 m/s^{2}
