Initial Velocity is 18 km/h = 5m/s

Acceleration is 5m/s^2

Time is 8 seconds

(1) v = u + at

v is final velocity, u is initial velocity, a is acceleration , t is time

v = 5 + 40 = 45 km/h

(2) v^2 - u^2 = 2as

v is final velocity, u is initial velocity, a is acceleration, s is distance

2as = 45^2 - 5^2

2as = 2000

s = 200 m

Hope it helps you
