Your answer :
Given,
Velocity (v) = 60 km/hr
Convert km/hr in m/s,
60 km = 60 × 1000 = 60,000 m (1 km = 1000 m)
1 hr = 1 × 60 × 60 = 3,600 sec (1 hr = 60 min and 1 min = 60 sec)
Velocity (v) = 60,000 ÷ 3,600 = 16.666 m/s
Time (t) = 15 sec
Distance (s) = ?
Velocity (v) = Distance (s) ÷ Time (t) Or
Distance (s) = Velocity (v) × Time (t)
Distance (s) = 16.666 m/s × 15 sec = 250 meters Or 250 ÷ 1000 = 0.25 km
Hope this helps.
Have a nice day =)
