A bus is moving with a speed 10m/s. A man wishes to chase that bus in 100s which is 1km away from him . With what speed he can chase that bus ?

hey there here is your answer........
bus speed = 10m/s
initial distance between bus and the man = 1km = 1000m.
both man and bus starts traveling and the time is 100s
Now the distance travelled by bus in that 100s of time is equal to
distance = speed × time
distance = 10×100 = 1000m.
so the man has to cover both the initial distance and the extra distance travelled by bus in that given 100s of time..
necessary speed of man is equal to
speed = total distance/time
speed = 1000 + 1000/100 = 2000/100
speed = 20m/s
