• Initial velocity (u) = 36 km/hr.

• Final velocity (v) = 0 km/hr.

• Time (t) = 8 sec

__________ [ GIVEN ]

We have to find the acceleration (a) of the bus.

We know that..

\star \: { \bold{\boxed{v \:  =  \: u +  \: at}}}

(Newton's first equation of Motion)

Put the known values in above formula.

Before that, convert Initial velocity in m/s.

To convert km/hr into m/s. Multiple it with 5/18

=> u = 36 × 5/18

=> 10 m/s

Now.. Put them in above formula

=> 0 = 10 + a(8)

=> - 10 = 8a

=> 8a = - 10

=> a = - 1.25 m/s²

- 1.25 m/s² is the acceleration of the bus.

\huge\bf{Answer:-}

According to the given question we

have to find the acceleration.

= v=u+at

= u = 36 × 5/18

=10 m/s

Using formula

= 0 = 10 + a(8)

= - 10 = 8a

= 8a = - 10

= a = - 1.25 m/s²

Therefore, - 1.25 m/s² is the acceleration of bus.
