(fL/fs) = {(V + VL)/(V + Vs)}

V = 335 m/s

Vs = – 5m/s

VL = + 5m/s

fs = 165Hz

∴ {fL/(165)} = {(335 + 5)/(335 – 5)}

= {(340)/(330)}

fL = 165 × (34 / 33)

= 170 Hz No of second

= 170 – 165

= 5Hz
