Using equation: v^2-u^2=2as

v=0 (because the bus stops), u=72km/hr= 20m/s, s=10m. So by substituting, 0^2-20^2=20a, a=(-20m/s^2)

Answer:

we know that for converting km/hr into m/s we have to multipy by 5/18 therefore; 72km/hr= 20m/s

ATP,

v=u+at

0=20+a(10)

0-20=10a

a=-20/10

a= -2m/s²

Retardation = 2m/s²
