Answer:

option c ) 2.5 km

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Given:-

Speed of Bus - 50 kmph ⇒ 50 ×  \frac{5}{18}  =  \frac{250}{18} = \frac{125}{9} m/s

Time - 3 mins - 60 × 3 = 180 sec

To Find:-

Distance travelled

Explanation:-

Using Formula   speed = \frac{distance}{time}

\frac{125}{9} = \frac{distance}{180}

⇒ Distance = \frac{125}{9} × 180

⇒ Distance = 125 × 20

⇒ Distance = 2500

∴ Distance it will cover in 3 mins is 2500 m or 2.5 kms

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note:- The S.I Unit of Speed = m/s ( meters / seconds )

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So we converted the kmph into m/s and minutes into seconds

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope It Helps You ! :D     ^_^
