A bus is travelling through town, with a mass of 5040kg and kinetic energy of 493900J. How fast is it travelling?​ ​

m = mass

v = velocity

given,

kinetic energy = 493900J

mass = 5040kg

velocity =  \:   \:  \sqrt{2 \times kinetic \: energy \div mass}

velocity =  \sqrt{2 \:  \times 493900 \div 5040}

velocity =  \sqrt{987800 \div 5040}

velocity =  \sqrt{196}

velocity = 14m/sec
