Answer:

125 km's

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :- Speed of the two buses is same i.e. 50 km/hr. One is travelling from Jodhpur to Jaipur and another from Jaipur to Jodhpur.

To Find :- Distance between the buses before they cross each other.

Solution :-

Let bus A travel from Jodhpur to Jaipur and let bus B travel from Jaipur to Jodhpur.

Let the total distance be D.

We know that, Distance travelled = Speed × time taken

Speed of bus A = 50 km / hr.

∴ In 1 hour it can travel a distance of 50 km's.

Speed of bus B = speed of bus A = 50 km/hr.

As the buses follow the same route. Therefore, distance travelled by both of them will be equal.

It is given that buses have travelled 2.5 hours.

∴ Distance travelled by both = 50 × 2.5 km

                                                = 125 km

Therefore, the buses are 125 km's far apart before they cross each other.
