Here,

velocity (v)=120km/hr

=120000/3600s

time=30 ×60 =1800s

distance=v/t

=60km

The distance covered by the bus is 60 km.

  • Here,  velocity (v)= 120 km/hr  = 120 km / 60 mins
  • time (t)=30 mins
  • According to unitary method,

In 60 mins the bus go 120 km

∴ In 30 mins the bus will go (120 * 30)/ 60 = 60 km

Hence, the distance covered by the bus in 30 mins is 30 km.
