Hello!

A body moving along a straight-line at 20 m/s undergoes an acceleration of 4 m/s² after 2 seconds. What will be its speed also find displacement ?

* What will be its speed, we have the following data:

u (initial velocity) = 20 m/s

v (final velocity) = ? (in m/s)

t (time) = 2 s

a (acceleration) = 4 m/s²

We apply the data to the formula of the hourly function of the velocity, let us see:

(v - u)/t

                 4 = (v - 20)/2

          v - 20 = 4 × 2

               v = 20 + 8

               v = 28 m/s.
