Given :-

A  bus moving along a straight line at 5 m/s undergoes an acceleration of 8 m/s²

To Find :-

Final velocity

Solution :-

We know that

v = u + at

Where

v= final velocity

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

On putting value

v = 5 + (8)(2)

v = 5 + 16

v = 21

Therefore

Final velocity is 21 m/s

Know More :-

Equations of motion

v = u + at

s = ut + 1/2 × at²

v² - u² = 2as

Where

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

s = distance

Answer:

21 m/s

Explanation:

a = v-u/t

given, a=8m/s^2, u = 5m/s, t=2s

=8 = v-5 / 2

=16 = v-5

=v = 21 m/s

So it's speed will be 21 m/s
