Answer:

acceleration=-2m/s²

Explanation:

velocity or u can say speed = 36 km/h

36×1000/60×60=10 m/s or a shortcut is 36×5/18=10 m/s(i convert it in m/s because time is given in seconds.)

if u want to convert any km/h value in m/s just multiply it by 5/18 so it will not take your much time .

  • so , initial speed= u=10 m/s
  • final speed =v= 0 m/s (given that bus will stop)
  • time=t=5 s
  • acceleration=a=?
  • applying the equation →v=u+at
  • 0=10+a×5
  • -10/5=a
  • -2 m/s²=a

so.the acceleration of  the bus will be -2 m/s²

hope it will help you!
