Answer: 14700 Joule/s

Explanation:

18 km/h equal to 5 m/s

5 m/s along 20 m equals 0.25 m/s

(6000 kg)*( 0.25 m/s)*(9.8 m/s^2) = 14700 Joule/s

Answer:

P = 14.981 KW

Explanation:

Given that

Mass = 6 metric tons

We know that

1 metric tons = 1000 kg

6 metric tons = 6000 kg

m=6000 kg

Velocity V = 18 KMPH

1 KMPH = 0.277 m/s

18 KPH = 5 m/s

V= 5 m/s

We know that power ,P

 P = F .V

tanθ = 1 /20

θ  = 2.86°

The component of gravity force along the incline = mg sinθ

 So F =  mg sinθ

F = 6000 x 10 sin 2.86°                    ( take g=10 m/s²)

F=2996.25 N

The power of engine P

P = F .V

P = 2996.52 x 5

P= 14981.28 W

P = 14.981 KW                            ( 1000 W = 1 KW)
