a bus start from rest and move down a hill with contant acceleration the bus travel a distance of 200 m in 10 second.if the mass of the bus is 15 metric tomme, what will be the acceleration and the force acting on it 1 metric tomme=1000kg

actually
u = S/t = 200/10 = 20 m/sec

hence acceleration a = v - u / t let the bus stops due to continuous force acting on it......so final velocity V = 0

F = ma = 1000 × v - u / t....

= 1000 × ( 0 - 20 / 10 )

= 1000 × (-2)

F = - 2000 N
negative sign tells that force is opposing the motion of body......

hence F = 2000 N and a = 2 m/sec2
