Answer:

u=18km/h

= 5m/s

a = -1m/s

v = 0m/s (comes to rest )

So,

v =u +at

0=5+(-1)×t

0=5-t

t= 5 seconds

Now,

Distance travelled (s)

2as =v^2 - u ^2

2 (-1) s = (0)^2 -(5)^2

-2 s = -25

s =-25/-2

s = 12.5m
