Answer. Acceleration = 3m/s

initial velocity =0 (as it is starting from rest )

time taken =8 seconds

distance (s) =?

To find we will use equation of motion

s = ut + 1/2at×t

s =0×8 +1/2×3×8×8

s= 1/2×3×64

s = 96 metres

Here,

  • u = 0 ; a =  \rm 3 \: {ms}^{ - 2} ; t = 8s ; S = ?

Using,

  •  \rm \implies{S = ut +  \frac{1}{2}  {at}^{2},we \: get}

  •  \rm \implies{S = 0 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 {ms}^{ - 2}  \times 64 {s}^{2} }

  •  \rm  \implies </u></strong><strong><u>\red{   = 96m</u></strong><strong><u>}</u></strong><strong><u>
