Answer:

Here Is Your Required answer..,

Explanation:

Let Us write the Given Data First,

He mentioned that bus is starting from rest then U (initial Velocity) = 0

Also mentioned that attains velocity then it becomes ( final velocity ) V = 25m/s

Time taken(t) = 10 min = 600 seconds

Force exerted by Engine (F) = 540 Newton

To Find:

Mass of the bus (m) = ??

Solution:

Let us use Newtons 1st law of motion as it suits perfectly to given data

v = u+at

V = Final Vel

U = Initial Vel

a = Acceleration due to gravity

t = time taken

25 = 0 + a × 600

25 = 600a

a = 25/600 (equation 1)

Now let us use F = ma to find mass of the bus

F = ma

540 = m× 25/ 600

540 × 600/25 = m

m = 540 × 24

m = 12,960 kg

Hence 12,960kg must be the required mass of the bus..

❆ Use the newtons 3 laws of motion according to given quantities and find the answers . They are,

❆ v = u + at

❆ s = ut + 1/2 at²

❆ v² - u² = 2as

❆ Sn = u +  (2n -1) used to find time in nth seconds

Hope it helps...
