Answer:

Distance = 720 m

Speed = 6 m/s

Explanation:

u = 0

a = 0.1 m/s2

t = 2 min = 120 seconds

distance = ?

From equations of motion

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

Since body starts from rest u = 0

so,

1 / 2 at^2

= 1/2 × 0.1 × 120 ×120

= 6 × 120

= 720 m

Now

Speed = Distance / Time

= 720 / 120

= 6 m/s

Thank you

Answer:

distance=720 m

velocity =12 m/s

Explanation:

the bus was starting from rest means u=0

acceleration=0.1 sec

time=2 min =120 sec

v=u+at

 =0+0.1×120

 =12 m/s

based on the third equation of motion,

v²=u²+2aS

(12)²=2×0.1×S

144=0.2S

S=144/0.2

 =720 m

hope it helped:)
