Explanation:

Initial velocity (u) = 0

Acceleration (a) = 0.1ms-2

Time (t) = 2 minute = 120 second

The speed acquired:

We know that, v = u + at

v

= 0 + 0.1m/s2 × 120s

v = 120m/s

Thus, the bus will acquire a speed of 120 m/s after 2 minute with the given acceleration.

The distance travelled:

We know that,

s=ut+1/2at2

s=0×120s+1/2×0.1m/s2×(120)2

=1/2×1440m

=720m

Thus, bus will travel a distance of 720 m in the given time of 2 minute.

U = 0m/s (as the bus is in rest)

V= ?

Acceleration = 0.1 m/s²

time taken = 2×60 = 120 s

finding speed :

a = v- u / t

0.1 = v - 0 / 120

0.1 = v/120

0.1 × 120 = V

12m/s = V

Thus the speed acquired by the bus is 12m/s

Now finding Distance Travelled :

V² - U² = 2as

( 12)² - (0)² = 2×0.1 × s

144/0.2 = s

720 m = S
