Given:-

  • Initial velocity ,u = 0m/s

  • Acceleration ,a = 0.1m/s²

  • Time taken ,t = 2 min = 2×60 = 120 s

To Find:-

  • Distance travelled ,S

Solution:-

Using 2nd Equation of motion

• s = ut + 1/2at²

where,

s is the distance covered

u is the initial velocity

a is the acceleration

t is the. time taken

Substitute the value we get

→ s = 0×120 + 1/2× 0.1 × 120

→ s = 0 + 1/2 × 0.1 × 120

→ s = 1/2×0.1 × 120

→ s = 0.1 × 60

→ s = 6 m

Therefore , the distance travelled by the bus is 6 Metres.

Answer:

0.1m/s for two minutes = 0.1m/s x 2min

(2 min = 120 sec)

0.1m x 120 = 12m
