Given :-

  • A bus starting from rest moves with a uniform acceleration of 0.1 m/s² for 2minutes.

To Find :-

  • The speed accqired and Distance traveled.

Solution :-

Converting Time in Seconds :-

We Have,

 \text{Time= 2 mins} \\

 = \rm( 2 \times 60)second \\

\red{:\longmapsto \text{Time  = 120 \:s}}

Here,

  • Initial Velocity = u = 0 m/s

  • Time Taken = t = 120 s

  • Acceleration = a = 0.1 m/s²

1 》 Calculating Speed Acquired :-)

Let Speed Acquired by Car be = v m/s

 We Have 1st Equation of Motion as :

\large \bf \red \bigstar \: \: \orange{ \underbrace{ \underline{v = u + at}}} \\

⏩ Applying 1st Equation of Motion ;

:\longmapsto \rm v = 0 + 0.1 \times 120 \\

:\longmapsto \rm v = 0.1 \times 120 \\

\purple{ \Large :\longmapsto  \underline {\boxed{{\bf v = 12} }}}

Therefore,

\large\underline{\pink{\underline{\frak{\pmb{\text Speed  \:  \text Acquired   = 12m/s }}}}}

2 》Calculating Distance Traveled :-)

 We Have 2nd Equation of Motion as :

\large \bf \red \bigstar \: \: \orange{ \underbrace{ \underline{s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2}}} \\

⏩ Applying 2nd Equation of Motion :

:\longmapsto \rm s = 0 \times 120 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0.1 \times 102 {}^{2}  \\

:\longmapsto \rm s = 0 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0.1 \times 14400 \\

\purple{ \large :\longmapsto  \underline {\boxed{{\bf s = 720 \: m} }}}

Therefore,

\large\underline{\pink{\underline{\frak{\pmb{ Distance  \text Traveled = 720 \: m }}}}}

Answer:

Question :-

  • A bus starting from rest moves with a uniform acceleration of 0.1 m/s^2 for 2 minutes.Find the speed acquired and distance.

Answer :-

  • Speed acquired =12 m/s.

  • Distance travelled =720m.

Given :-

  • A bus is starting from the rest moves with a uniform acceleration of 0.1m/s^2 for 2 minutes.

To find :-

  • Speed acquired
  • Distance travelled.

Explanation :-

  • Here ,we should take
  • Initial velocity =0 m/s.

  • Here we first we should come to know that ,
  • We should convert time in seconds in applying for the equation.
  • So,
  • Time=2minutes
  • Time=2×60=120sec.

1》First we should find speed acquired by the bus.

  • Consider speed acquired by the bus be =v m/s.
  • Here to get answer we should Apply first equation of motion that is,

v = u + at

  • Now applying all the values we get that,

  • v = 0 + 0.1 \times 120 = 12

\mathcal\purple{So,}

  • Speed acquired by the bus =12 m/s.

2》Finding distance travelled by the bus.

  • Here we should apply second equation of motion we get that,

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

  • Now applying all the values we get that,

  • s = 0 \times 120 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0.1 \times  {120}^{2}
  • s = 0 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0.1 \times 14400 = 720m

\mathcal\red{Therefore ,}

  • Distance travelled by the bus=720m.

Hope it helps u mate.

Thank you .
