A bus starting from rest moves with a uniform acceleration of 0.2 m/s square for 5 minutes in a circle. Calculate the speed acquired and the distance covered by the bus

U = 0

t = 5 min. = 5 * 60 sec. = 300 Second

a = 0.2 m / s ^ 2

V = U + at

= 0 + 0.2 * 300

= 60 m / s Ans.

V ^ 2 - U ^ 2 / 2a = S

S = ( 60 ) ^ 2 - 0 / 2 * 0.2

= 3600 / 0.4

= 9000m
