When a body starts from rest then its initial velocity becomes zero.

a = 0. 2 ms-²

t = 3 min = 180 s

Now,

v = u + at

v = 0 + 0.2 x 180

v = 36 ms-¹

Again,

S = ut + 1/2 at²

S = 0 + 1/2 × 0.2 × 180 × 180

S = 3240 m

Hence,

Velocity = v = 36 ms-¹

Distance = 3240 m
