\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Given:-}}}

• Initial velocity of bus, u= 0 m/s

• Acceleration, a = 0.1m/s²

• Time (t) = 2 min or 120 sec

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ To Find :-}}}

• Speed required, v

• Distance travelled , s

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Solution :-}}}

\underline{\:\textsf{ Using 1st equation of motion  :}}

\dashrightarrow \sf v= u+at\\ \\ \dashrightarrow \sf v= 0+0.1\times 120\\ \\ \dashrightarrow \sf v= 12m/s

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Hence-}}}

\underline{\textsf{  Required speed  </p><p>\textbf{ 12m/s}}}.

Again,

\underline{\:\textsf{ Using 3rd equation of motion  :}}

\dashrightarrow \sf  v^2= u^2+2as\\ \\ \dashrightarrow \sf (12)^2= (0)^2+2\times 0.1\times s\\ \\ \dashrightarrow \sf 144= 0.2\times s\\ \\ \dashrightarrow \sf \cancel{\dfrac{144}{0.2}}= s\\ \\ \dashrightarrow \sf 720= s

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Hence-}}}

\underline{\textsf{  Distance travelled  </p><p>\textbf{720 m}}}.
