Hi friends we know that equation of newton motion law v= u+ at --------------1
Given v=36 ×5/18 = 10 m/s
and u=0 all value put in question ---------18
10=0+a ×60
a=1/6
a= 0.16 m/s^2 answer
i hope you understand

✬ Acceleration = 0.17 m/s² ✬

Explanation:

Given:

  • A bus stars from rest (u) = 0
  • Bus attains speed (v) of 36 km/h.
  • Time (t) taken to attain 36 km/h is 1 minute.

To Find:

  • What is the acceleration (a) of the bus ?.

Formula to be used:

  • First law of motion
  • v = u + at

Solution: Here, final velocity (v) is in km/h so we need to change it in m/s.

➨ 36 km/h = 36 \times 5/18 m/s

➨ ( 2 \times 5 ) m/s

➨ 10 m/s ( Final Velocity )

Changing time into seconds

➨ 1 minute = 60 seconds

Now, put the values on formula

\implies{\rm } v = u + at

\implies{\rm } 10 = 0 + a \times 60

\implies{\rm } 10 = 60a

\implies{\rm } 10/60 = a

\implies{\rm } 0.166 m/ or 0.17 m/ = a

Hence, the acceleration of the bus is 0.17 m/s².
