Initial velocity ,u = 0

Acceleration, a = 1 m/s-2

Time = 5 minutes = 5×60 =300 seconds

From first equation of motion,

v = u + a×t

=0+1×300

= 300 m/s

So, speed acquired is 300 m/s.

From second equation of motion,

s = u+1/2 ×a×t2

= 0+1/2×1×300×300

= 150 × 300

= 45000 m

Hope it helps you.....

Answer:SPEED=300M/S

DISTANCE=45KM

Explanation:

given

u=0

a=1m/s*2

time=300 sec

from 1 equation of motion

v=u+at

=0+1*300

=300m/s

from 2nd equation of motion

s=u+1/2at*2

=0+1/2*1*300*300

=150*300

=45000m
