Answer:

22m/s

Explanation:

2 minutes=120 sec

V=U +at

V=10+(0.1)×120

V=22

therefore final velocity is equal to 22m/s

Given:-

  • Initial Velocity of the bus = 10m/s

  • Acceleration of the bus = 0.1m/s²

  • Time = 2min → 2 × 60 = 120s

To Find:-

  • The Velocity acquired in 2 minute.

Formulae used:-

  • v = u + at

Where,

  • v = Final Velocity

  • u = Initial Velocity.

  • a = Acceleration

  • t = Time

Now,

→ v = u + at

→ v = 10 + 0.1 × 120

→ v = 10 + 12

→ v = 22m/s

Hence, The Velocity attained by bus is 22m/s

MORE TO KNOW:-

  • Velocity is the Displacement covered by body in Per unit time.

  • Velocity has magnitude and Direction, It is a vector Quantity

  • Acceleration is defined as the rate of change in Velocity

  • Acceleration is vector quantity

SOME MORE EQUATION

  • S = ut + ½ × a × t²

  • v² - u² = 2as
