Answer :-

Speed in Km/h is 40 Km/h and Speed in m/s is 100/9 m/s

Solution :-

First find speed in Km/h

Distance covered by bus = 80 Km

Time taken = 2 hours

We know that

Speed = Distance/Time

Speed = 80/2

= 40

= 40 Km/h

Speed in Km/h = 40 Km/h

Convert speed into m/s

To convert just multiply speed in Km/h with 5/18

Speed = 40 * 5/18 = 20 * 5/9 = 100/9 m/s

Speed in m/s = 100/9 m/s

Therefore Speed in Km/h is 40 Km/h and Speed in m/s is 100/9 m/s

Answer:-

V in km /hr = 20

V in m/s = 11.11

Given :-

Distance = 80 km

Time taken = 2h

To find :-

It's speed in km/hr and m/s

Solution :-

1 km = 1000m

1hr = 3600s

Speed :- The rate of change of distance by a body is known as speed.

  • It's SI unit is m/s.

The speed is given by formula :-

\boxed{\sf{V = \dfrac{S}{T}}}

Where s is distance and t is time.

Now,

we have

S = 80 km

T = 2h

Then,

 V = \dfrac{80}{2}

 V = 40 km /hr

Now ,

80 km = 80,000 m

2h = 7200s

By using speed formula,

 V = \dfrac{80,000}{7200}

 V = 11.11 m / s

hence,

Speed in km/hr is 40

Speed in km/hr is 40 and Speed in m/s is 11.11m/s.

Shortcut :-

To change km/hr in to m/s

  • Multiply with 5/18.

To change m/s in to km/hr

  • Multiply by 18/5.
