let the distance from mathura to kanpur be xkm and original speed be ykm/h
speed=distance/time
y=x/6
x=6y ...1
y+10=x/5
x=5y+50 ...2
from 1 and 2,
6y=5y+50
y=50
x=6×50
x=300
therefore, distance from mathura to kanpur is 300km and original speed of bus is 50km/h
