Average speed = total distance/total time

60+80 = 140 km/hr

140/2 = 70 km per hr

Answer:

 {\therefore \tt the \: average \: speed \: of \: the \: bus \: is \: 70 \: km/hr}

explanation:

\mathsf{average \: speed =\dfrac{total \: distance}{total \: time \: taken} }

Total distance = 60 + 80 = 140 km

Total time = 1 + 1 = 2 hours

\mathsf{average \: speed =\dfrac{140}{2} = 70 \: km/hr}
