A Bus travelling at 40 ms^-1 accelerates at 0.6ms^-2 for 30s . How far will it travel in this time ? ​

. Initial velocity u = 40m/s

. Time T = 30 s

. Acceleration = 0.6m/s^2

. Distance Travelled is :

= s=u+ 1/2 at^2

= s= 40 × 30 + 1/2 × 0.6 × 30 × 30

= s = 1,200 + 0.3 × 900

= s = 1,470

• Therefore, 1,470m the Bus travels.
