Given

✭ Speed of bus = 60 km/h

✭ Distance = 4 hours

To Find

◈ Time taken to cover the distance if the speed is 75 km/h

Solution

Concept

So here first we shall find the distance with the help of the formula to find speed, then substitute this again with the speed as 75 km/h to get the answer!!

━━━━━━━━

Speed is given by,

Speed = Distance/Time

  • Speed = 60 km/h
  • Time = 4 hours

Substituting the given values,

➝ Speed = D/T

➝ 60 = Distance/4

➝ 60×4 = Distance

➝ Distance = 240 km

Now in Case 2

  • Speed = 75 km/h
  • Distance = 240 km

So now the time will be,

➳ Speed = Distance/Time

➳ 75 = 240/Time

➳ Time = 240/75

➳ Time = 3.2 hours
