◼Speed is the distance travelled in unit time.It is a scalar quantity

◼Distance is the actual path covered by a body. It is a scalar quantity.

◼Commonly used units in speed =

km/h and m/s

⬜As per the question we know the speed and time taken. We need to find out the distance travelled

◼Speed of the bus = 30 km/h

◼Total time taken = 30 min

As 60 min = 1 hr

30 min = 30/60

= 1/2 hour

◼Distance travelled by the car = Speed × Time

= 30 × 1/2

= 30/2

= 15 km

Answer - The bus travels 15 km if it travels with a speed of 30km/h in 30 minutes
