a ) a bus travelling 50 km in 45 second !!


50 km / 45 min

=> 10 / 9 km / min .


b ) to calculate in meter / second. !!

we need to divide 45/60 to convert it into second !!

Hi mate,

Here is your answer,

Given, Distance if the bus = 50 km

Time= 45 min.

We know that,

speed =  \frac{distance}{time}

speed =  \frac{50}{45}

speed = 1.11..... \infty  \: kmpm

Now we have to find the speed in m/s

we know that,

1km = 1000m
then
50km = 50000m
we know that

1min = 60sec

then

45min = 2700sec
No we find the speed in m/s

18.51m/s is the final answer.
