To Find :-

Average speed

Solution :-

In Case 1

Time = Distance/Speed

Time = 100/50

Time = 2 hr

In Case 2

Time = Distance/Speed

Time = 80/40

Time = 2 hr

Now,

Average speed = Total distance/Total time

Average speed = 100 + 80/2 + 2

Average Speed = 180/4

Avergae speed = 45 km/h
